This report showcases the impact of Berytech’s activities in supporting startups, creating a nurturing ecosystem for entrepreneurs and propagating entrepreneurship in Lebanon since its launch in 2002, with a specific focus on the culmination of achievements in year 2018.
Berytech was created with the vision to catalyze the Lebanese startup ecosystem. After close to two decades, it was able to create this giant ripple effect that has set in motion accelerators, incubators, VC funding, support organizations and government policies.
Today, we are reaping a generation that embraces the power of entrepreneurship and the impact it has on its future and the future of our economy.
Berytech is still the only organization in Lebanon to provide an across-the-board ecosystem for innovative entrepreneurs to create and develop their own startups and SMEs. When joining Berytech, one becomes part of an interconnected community of entrepreneurs, creators, experts, innovators, changemakers, dreamers, believers and hard workers.
Initiated in 2002 by the Saint-Joseph University, the establishment of Berytech was supported by key economic stakeholders including major banks and technology, commercial and industrial organizations.
