Agrifresh was established in 2015.
It is a Lebanese agricultural and food industrial company, that produces healthy and fresh cut vegetables under the highest international health standards (GLOBAL G.A.P; ISO 22000, Yum!) using the latest technology and equipment.
Their tasty, nutritious products are grown on a community of farms stretching over 100+ hectares in many regions all over Lebanon. They grow with care on farms, many of which have been with us for multiple generations. In February 2021, they introduced a new segment of products called “Agrifresh Dehydrated” with the purpose of innovating and creating high quality dehydrated products by utilizing their own production expertise and empowering the Lebanese farmers.
One of their key advantages is that they grow their own products and thus the final dehydrated product is controlled since the very first step of the process.
Multiple parties benefit from the products they produce: farmers, who face issues to sell all of their produce, Restaurants and Catering companies who look for available and affordable dehydrated products, packaging companies, local and future Agrifresh employees.
In the future, Agrifresh is willing to expand in the below segments:
- Increase export volume to cover multiple countries/continents
- Increase variety of products to include fruits that are grown in Lebanon (e.g. Grapes, oranges, etc.)
- Work with tea/infusion production companies that uses dehydrated herbs in large quantities (Most of which are imported today)
