Al Sultan Sweets is a family business founded in 1989. It operates from a factory in Maifadoun, Nabatieh, and has three branches in Nabatieh, Ghobeiry and Bir Hassan. The company produces and sells a wide range of sweets. It is known for its refined products and quality reputation in Lebanon.
Recently, a new opportunity to export Al-Sultan Sweets products to West Africa was identified, but the buyer is requesting an ISO 22000 certification.
Accordingly, to close the deal successfully, LED will assist Al-Sultan Sweets by cost-sharing to hire the consultant who will work with the company to review, update, and document all relevant internal processes and procedures so that Al-Sultan Sweets is able to implement the ISO 22000:2018 standard.
With LED’s support, the company will significantly increase its sales and create 21 new jobs by 2020.
