Carine Fersan, is a marketing strategist, digital media and brand expert with more than fifteen years creating impactful solutions in the banking industry. Her practice focuses on SMEs, start-ups and Women Markets, leading external and internal value propositions.
She pairs a broad range of marketing expertise and gender-lens program development with an extensive experience in knowledge-sharing and mentoring contributing to the global community, SMEs, women-led businesses and startups as instructor, trainer, speaker and mentor.
She joined the Financial Alliance for Women, New York in June 2020 as Manager, Peer Learning and Marketing. She is responsible for creating, developing and implementing the marketing strategy, and project managing the peer learning programs, a main pillar of the Alliance offering, where members connect, share and learn from each other’s experiences.
Previously, Carine had twelve years of banking experience at BLC Bank Lebanon within marketing and communications. In 2019, she became the Head of Brand Management leading the bank’s strategic marketing planning using a customer centric approach targeting segments such as Individuals, High Net worth, SMEs and the We-initiative.
In 2013, she undertook the full responsibility of the We initiative and Enterprise Banking – the first holistic Women Empowerment program launched in MENA – as its senior brand Manager responsible for implementing, growing and enhancing the program, overseeing the execution of its financial and non-financial services and the Brilliant Lebanese Awards program.
Carine graduated from ESA Beirut & ESCP EAP Paris in 2009 with a Master Degree in Marketing after completing a BS in Industrial Psychology and BA in Communication both in 2005 at the Lebanese University.
