Cedar Scent was established in 2012 to support the rural community of Niha Batroun to market their produce by moving from agriculture to industry and creating new and innovative products and concepts.
Cedar Scent successfully mobilized grants to rehabilitate, following ISO requirements, one of the oldest Mills in the village which serves now as the local for the factory. Most of the products are CCPB certified and reflect the region’s traditional and rich flavors e.g. Zaatar, apple juice, etc.
Cedar Scent’s objective is to invest in the capacities and talents of the region and to encourage eco and rural tourism where tourists can indulge in a unique experience bridging nature, agriculture, culinary innovations, rural development, and agro-food production.
