EnviroWaste aims to foster community-driven governance for sustainable solid waste management and innovation in Lebanon, by mimicking a zero-waste model inspired by nature.

EnviroWaste tackles the socio-economic and environmental pitfalls of the over squandering resources in landfills and open dumpsites by constructing community-based and user-friendly drop-off stations for recyclables, incentivizing recyclable drop-offs, and targeting youth communities as important stakeholders in waste management. It operates from the community to the society by turning waste into an opportunity for environmental and societal support. Locals are encouraged to sort their recyclables from the source and to drop them in nearby drop-off stations, earning by this a reward value in the forms of cashback, humanitarian or environmental support.

EnviroWaste offers a holistic approach to waste reduction and valorization into environmental and societal support by bridging ecological thinking, economic empowerment, and societal development for a more resilient society and ecosystem. It helps create additional job opportunities within the society by encouraging innovative community-based solutions for sustainable solid waste management in Lebanon.

The startup is currently operating in the region of Keserwan but is opting to cover in two years from now different regions in Lebanon by installing more community-based solid waste management solutions.
