Evert Jaap Lugt is the Managing Director of tech incubator YES!Delft, the largest in the Netherlands with a portfolio of over 200 startups and over 300 million euros in acquired funding. Under his leadership, YES!Delft reached a second-place ranking on the worldwide UBI Global list for university-affiliated incubators.
An Industrial Engineering graduate, EJ has accumulated 10 years of experience in the corporate sector and over two decades as an entrepreneur and CEO. He founded a number of successful companies, such as mobile communication solution @Media (sold to the Dutch national broadcaster NOS in 2001), messaging app Nimbuzz (sold to New Call Telecom in 2014) and NGT International, Innovation and Development center focussed on building state of the art Telecommunication systems.
