IO Tree is a wireless sensory network controlling each farmer’s plot and making him apply the right farming practices through a farmer-friendly mobile app capable of being the eyes of every Tree and raising every Tree’s voice when necessary.
After being successfully incubated by Berytech in the Agrytech Accelerator Program and by Flat6labs in their program, IOTree was incubated by the WomenInTech incubator by Sandbox in Vilnius, Lithuania. The co-founder and CEO Nisrine El Turky followed all the courses and material needed online. She comments, “throughout that program we were capable of crossing the Middle Eastern boundaries, and shaping the product in a way that fits the mindset of European farmers. Subsequently, we also met many EU investors that discussed further their interest in our software and hardware packages, to enhance our alpha release of the IOTree product.”
