LED will cost-share with KAAJU to hire a consultant to develop standard operating procedures for the sales operations.

Jigsaw SAL, dba KAAJU, established in 2017, produces a range of flavoured, roasted nuts. They are currently working on developing two new items.

Building on the growing interest in KAAJU products, the owners have decided to contract another company to produce and pack their products for them. This will enhance their production capabilities, increase efficiency, decrease costs and save time. It also provides a means to expand production without having to invest in their own production facility.

Based on that, KAAJU has tentatively agreed to supply several buyers in Lebanon and abroad. To be able to grow and cater to the local and international markets in retail sales and on the online platform, KAAJU needs to restructure its organization and operations at different levels. Also related to exports, the company lacks established procedures to streamline the supply chain process and production components.

LED will cost-share with KAAJU to hire a consultant to develop standard operating procedures for the sales operations to achieve efficiency, quality output, and uniformity of performance, and to ensure an effective supply chain: supply, production, sales and marketing for local and export markets.

With LED’s support, the company expects to increase sales and create 6 new jobs by 2020.
