Hadwan Dairy produces and sells various dairy products in Mreijat, Bekaa. Hadwan Dairy recently invested to upgrade its factory, adding new equipment to increase its production capacity. However, to better serve its clientele in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and North Lebanon and to attract new customers who are not able to visit the shop in Bekaa, the company plans to open a new retail outlet in Zalka, Mount Lebanon.
The main constraint affecting the deal for the success of the new retail outlet is the lack of sales skills of the retail team.
LED will cost-share with Hadwan Dairy to hire a local firm, which will help the company achieve its sales targets in the new branch. The consulting firm will train Hadwan Dairy’s team on retail sales best practices, help the sales team to acquire the proper product knowledge for each item, and set the required KPIs for each employee.
With LED’s support, Hadwan expects to increase sales significantly and create 8 jobs by 2020.
