Founded in 1969, le bouquet baby is a leading distributor in Lebanon for baby items from furniture to accessories. Operating from three retail stores located in Corniche El-Mazraa, Sin El-Fil and Kantari, Le Bouquet also distributes its wholesale products to several retailers in Lebanon and Arab countries.
Recently, Le Bouquet’s owner was approached by a buyer in Kosovo who discovered a big need for baby’s furniture and accessories there; in addition, many entities from Egypt, UAE, Jordan and the USA are also interested to import baby accessories and room decorations made locally. The main constraint affecting the franchising deals is that the owner does not yet have in place a franchising system to guide franchisee operations.
LED will cost-share with Le Bouquet to hire a consultant to guide the company to establish a franchising strategy with all supporting documentation. This assistance will increase the company’s sales and generate 14 new jobs by 2020.
