LED is assisting Saad Tours, a full-service inbound operator specialized in Lebanon, to develop new programs, promising a unique experience, which combines cultural, educational, religious, agritourism, gastronomy and nature experiences. Saad Tours offers its services at preferential rates for groups and individuals to corporate companies and first-class tour operators in Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, GCC and the U.S. Saad Tours realized a need for pre-scheduled, guaranteed excursions in Lebanon, but the owners do not have internal expertise to create such programs. The concept needs support in product design, itinerary design, pricing and promotion.
LED will cost share with Saad Tours to hire a rural tourism expert who will advise and assist in the itinerary design and implementation by identifying new tour routes and villages and identifying experiences in the selected areas. In addition, the consultant will advise on setting the tour prices and train the company tour leaders on the new responsible tourism. With LED’s assistance, the company expects to increase sales and create 14 new jobs by 2020.
