QOOT is the first Lebanese agri-food consortium that brings together Lebanese enterprises, rising SMEs, multinational companies, knowledge providers, support institutions, and investment entities to collaboratively catalyze and innovate the agri-food sector in Lebanon.
Initiated by Berytech and the Kingdom of the Netherlands with the active guidance of FoodValley – leading agri-food cluster in The Netherlands QOOT was born out of a resolve to equip Lebanon with the resources and processes that have made the Netherlands one of the leading agricultural innovators and food exporters worldwide.
The vision is to lead the agri-food innovation scene in the region and put Lebanon back on the global agri-food innovation map.
Launched in February 2019, the Cluster has already brought on board several innovative Lebanese agri-food companies of all sizes, all committed to joining forces and accelerating the sustainable growth of Lebanon’s agricultural sector.
QOOT exists to help Lebanese agri-food innovators thrive. Through the services and activities of our cluster, we seek to create the ideal environment for agri-food businesses to strengthen their expertise, fuel their ideas, build fruitful partnerships, and establish themselves in new markets.
QOOT welcomes all businesses that contribute to Lebanon’s agricultural value chain. From input suppliers, to crop and livestock farmers, to agri-food SMEs, enterprises, traders and exporters, all stakeholders with a mindset of collaboration and innovation can sign up to enjoy increased visibility, tailored support, and easier market access.
