Printing company Xeikon has partnered with packaging provider Kotkamills to safely print on sustainable and plastic-free paper cup for hot beverages. Xeikon developed a digital printing method using food safe dry toner to print on Kotkamills’ plastic free, recyclable and biodegradable cups (not PE coated). This is in answer to consumers’ demands for sustainable environmentally friendly products on the go.
Lebanese and people in the region are big coffee drinkers and so such innovations would allow them to enjoy their favorite beverage on the go while still protecting the environment from waste.
