Thyme cultivation in Lebanon

Thyme mixes are typical Lebanese staples and the mankoushe should be our national dish. Traditionally, thyme grew in the wild and was picked as such. But when wild thyme became scarce in 2006 an entrepreneur thought of cultivating thyme instead of just sourcing it wild. A decade plus another entrepreneur The Good Thyme’s Fadi Aziz, innovated thyme by producing different mixes and branding it.
