Elie Bou Faysal

Program Coordination and Technical Advisor 

Elie Bou Faysal joined Berytech in January 2023 and is currently a Program Coordination and Technical Advisor for SME programs at Berytech. He supports coordinating and implementing various activities related to the program execution, managing and supporting the execution of events, and ensuring a smooth project flow.

Elie holds a degree in Agri-Food Engineering from the University Saint Joseph of Beirut (USJ), where he developed a strong entrepreneurial mindset through his participation in ideations, hackathons, and entrepreneurship events, and winning prizes in several competitions. Additionally, Elie gained experience in the food industry through his work as a founder of a pet food startup, as part of the Agrytech accelerator batch IV, and as a freelancer on various food projects. He also has a solid background in project management and volunteering, having worked on agriculture and food industry projects with various organizations such as Arcenciel, RMF, and ICARDA.

Furthermore, Elie has been highly engaged in extracurricular activities such as being a writer for the Campus-J journal about science and technology, an Earth Club board member, an Entrepreneurship Club board member, a “Donner sang compter” member, and an entrepreneurship and employability ambassador for professional insertion service at USJ Beirut.

On a personal level, Elie is highly interested in science, technology, automation, the automotive industry, and sports. He is an active listener with a solution-oriented approach and enjoys practicing cross-fit to stay in shape. Lastly, Elie is a Science-fiction movies fan and enjoys having decent conversations in a warm coffee shop, stand-up comedy, wine, food tasting, and exploring nature.
