Fadi Khoneisser joined Berytech in March 2016 and is currently the Director of Development and Growth.
During his time as the spokesperson for Beirut Internet Exchange – Beirut-IX or BIX, he held the position of Director of Operations.
As a senior operation executive, he brings his global experience and a 26-year progressive career in the telecommunications industry. He has a demonstrated expertise in profit and loss management, business operations, multi-million dollars contract negotiations, project management, technical engineering and budget management. Fadi has a solid experience participating in mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and integrations.
He last served as the General Manager of Mirsat part of the Holcom Group, where he planned and implemented the revival of the dormant company. He secured and executed major contracts with the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications and the mobile operators.
Previously and for a duration of fifteen years, he worked at Globalcom Data Services – another Holcom Group company. Promoted from the Technical Director position to General Manager, he successfully turned the financially troubled company around, restoring profit and enabling it to become the number one privately-owned data operator in Lebanon. He recruited and managed extremely dedicated teams and ensured that the company provided excellent technical solutions and customer support in a highly competitive market. During this period, he formed key relationships with global telecommunications vendors and operators. He traveled to more than twenty European and African countries to conduct business and attend exhibitions and events.
Born in Beirut, he fluently speaks and writes Arabic, French and English. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering – Telecommunications section, from Saint-Joseph University – ESIB (1993), an MBA from Ecole Superieure des Affaires – ESA (2000) and an Executive Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD (2014).
He has a sizable collection of comic books, and if you are a very early morning person, you might see him biking and jogging in Beirut streets. He is married and a proud father of a three-year old girl.
