Jana Barhouche joined Berytech in March 2023 as the Program Officer for the REAF program.
She graduated from the American University of Beirut in December 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Business. Jana gained experience in startups and business development while working with Bildits and Steelouette. Her roles involved testing product iterations, improving production efficiency, and conducting market research for new market entries. After graduation, she worked with FJB & Partners, an accounting and audit firm, assisting in feasibility studies and performing accounting tasks.
Jana also volunteered extensively in the scouts movement, co-founding two new units and eventually becoming the leader of 300 boys and girls aged 8 to 24. These experiences helped her realize her passion for working with youth and making a positive impact. Her passion for making a difference led her to join Berytech, and she is thrilled to work for an organization that aligns with her values.
Outside of work, Jana enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures, camping, listening to music, spending time in nature, and laughing with friends and family.
