Lara El Khoury joined Berytech in March 2021 and is currently the Programs Director for the ACT Smart Innovation Hub. Lara is fascinated with Berytech’s out-of-the-box approach to strengthening business advancement, economic growth, and job creation in the Agri-food and Cleantech sectors in Lebanon which motivated her to join the team and provide her vast knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Lara is enthusiastic about tech, innovation, and the environment. She employs her 18+ years of professional experience in IT, product management, and entrepreneurship to marry her three passions and help startups and established companies to realize their utmost potential.
Lara is an entrepreneur herself and is an alumna of Agrytech Batch II. Her experience encompasses e-commerce, fintech, agri-tech and telco sectors.
Lara is both people and objective oriented and relishes helping others reach their full capacity while achieving their targets. She believes that banking on people strengths instead of their weaknesses is the way to go.
Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from AUB, and an Executive MBA from ESA Lebanon and ESCP Europe. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her little family and close friends.
