Lara Kloumian joined Berytech in November 2022 as the Business Development Support Senior Officer. She supports the department’s activities in strategizing the development, implementation and growth of entrepreneurship programs across multiple functions.
She has an innovation management certification from Erasmus Rotterdam University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics with distinction from the Lebanese American University.
Before joining Berytech, Lara led the Energy Innovation Hub, a UNDP EU co-funded initiative. She has extensive knowledge working with the Lebanese entrepreneurship ecosystem, with over four years of experience working with local and international agencies in designing and leading entrepreneurship, Think Tanks and capacity-building programs.
As an advocate for socio-economic development through technological advancements, Lara founded Startupstalk MENA, a business content platform that offers insights and research on economics and startup trends. An embodiment of several cultures, she can communicate in English, Arabic, French, and Armenian.
When she’s not working, Lara explores different cultures through cooking and baking. Other hobbies include reading and practicing yoga.
