Manal Kanaan joined Berytech in April 2024 as a Grants and Finance Specialist. In her role, Manal spearheads the management of grants and financial controls, ensuring adherence to policies and facilitating procurement for the Water and Energy for Food program (WE4F) in the MENA region.
With a wealth of experience of more than a decade in grant management and program development, Manal has played pivotal roles in various organizations. Prior to her current position, she served as a Partnership and Compliance Officer at INTERSOS, where she contributed to the identification and development of quality partnerships with local actors, alongside managing communications and visibility materials.
Manal’s journey in grant management began at the Global Health Institute at AUB, where she served as a Grants Manager, overseeing pre-and post-award administration of research grants and contracts. She also held roles at AFAC and VITAS, where she coordinated grant-making processes, managed active grants, and ensured timely reporting and compliance.
With a strong commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable impact, Manal brings a blend of expertise in finance, project management, and partnership development to her current role at Berytech. She holds a proven track record of driving operational efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing impact in humanitarian and development initiatives.
