Mohammad Mortada joined BeryTech as a Communication and Marketing Specialist, handling three programs in the agri-food sector and supporting core Berytech activities. His work encompasses everything from creating creative content to website management and event coverage.
As a former Head of Events and Communications, Mohammad has 11 years of experience in communications for the higher education sector. He led social media management, event planning and execution, and charity and fundraising events. While working in communications, he taught in the schools of business, arts and sciences, and education for seven years.
Mohammad is a lifelong learner who enjoys learning new skills and using them. He learned graphic design, photography, and web development out of creative curiosity and now enjoys taking on exciting freelance projects.
His volunteer journey started with his first university days, where he campaigned with many NGOs and eventually became the vice president of the first secular club in his university. Mohammad now volunteers with NGOs in the entrepreneurship sector, where he coaches and mentors startups on the topics of marketing and communications.
Off the clock, he switches between hardcore activities like rock climbing and staying at home with a good book.
