Rim Tannir joined Berytech in September 2021 as the Human Resources Manager, with the goal of expanding the core team based on the rapid development of business operations and in anticipation of exponential growth of Berytech’s business model in the near future.
She is a distinguished HR professional with a demonstrated track record in organizational excellence. She graduated from Université Saint-Joseph in 2011 with a Masters degree in Business Management, and completed her SHRM-CP accreditation from SHRM in 2018.
During the past few years, Rim acquired solid experience in HR management, developing and implementing corporate policies, recruitment and evaluation, training, and team building, along with handling personnel and payroll, all while keeping an eye out for Business KPI’s and personnel needs.
Experienced in diverse corporate sectors from Banking to Retail Businesses, she began her career in Human Resources as an Officer in the Arab Bank Head office in Beirut in 2012 where she led many L&D Mentoring projects. She later took over as HR manager at Calia Group in 2019, where she was able to grow and manage the expansion into 15 branches and over 400 employees.
Rim is a strong believer in the role of the HR Department that plays in establishing a corporate culture that is inclusive of all employees and motivates everyone to deliver at their highest performance level; while creating a sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in their work.
Being veteran scout, Rim is highly engaged in social and environmental activities, supporting local communities, and initiatives. In 2016 she helped lunch an initiative under the name “بيروت أحلى” for the purpose of supporting struggling local youth and businesses in her home city in collaboration with USAID, local NGOs, and businesses. In 2016 she specialized in Laughter Yoga, after training in India. She believes that there is nothing that cannot be treated with a laugh: it’s a powerful state of mind, ask her about it.
Rim’s favorite pass time is spending time with her beloved cat, family, and friends nestled in between the trees admiring Lebanon’s delicate nature.
