Therese Maalouf Joined Berytech in March 2022 and is currently QOOT Cluster Senior Coordinator. Previously, she held the position of a Business Advisor for the Women Economic Empowerment in Lebanon (WEEL) program under the European Union and Expertise France.
Her drive for greatness led her to work in various portfolios, Therese started her career in the banking sector where she spent 10 years at Arab Bank plc. as an Elite Portfolio Manager and Retail Customer Relationship, she then moved to the UAE to work as a Product Line Manager at Chabros International Group, a timber trading company, after which she worked as a Business Development Manager and Consultant at Global Aim Trading and Shipping (GATS), a freight forwarding company, traveling to China to recruit foreign agents for Lebanon.
Returning to Lebanon, Therese started giving university lectures at the American University of Lebanon (AUL) for the school of business. Being active with ACT Leaders in the field of learning, coaching, and training, Therese trained companies across sectors to enhance their business models and performance on different scales in a 360 degrees scope. She gave as well trainings in emotional intelligence and body language. In parallel, Therese handled the accounting of Saifi Plot a construction company that has projects in Achrafieh.
Working across different cultures and industries helped Therese develop interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills that are essential for communicating with different fields of business. In addition, her experience helped her screen properly any business field and present the needed enhancement plans for business growth.
Therese holds a dual master’s degree: Masters of Sciences in International Business Management from KEDGE – Bordeaux Ecole of Management in France and a Masters in Business Administration Management from Notre Dame University – Lebanon.
Aside from her career and education, Therese is a mother of two kids, Vaia Sophiya and Georgius to whom she is fully dedicated. In her free time, she practices Latino dance and evolves her Spanish communication skills. Therese likes outdoor activities especially swimming, she also likes cooking, she is a top Chef especially in the Italian Cuisine.
