Youssef Yammine joined Berytech in November 2021 and is currently the Cluster Manager under the ACT Smart Innovation Hub Department, bringing a unique perspective with his diverse background in technical engineering and communication management.
Starting his career in the IT sector, Youssef acquired expertise in computer networks, systems, and database administration. Transitioning to the building automation industry, he specialized in Building Management systems for over 8 years. During this time, he successfully oversaw more than 30 projects in Lebanon and Africa from design to full implementation, showcasing his proficiency in planning, leading, and managing initiatives.
Transitioning to innovation programs and startups, Youssef utilized his technical background and networks to forge connections between fintech startups and stakeholders in the UAE, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.
Youssef holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, complemented by certifications from Microsoft and Schneider-electric. He is certified as a “Scaleup Coach” by Strategy Tools and holds certification in “Living Labs Implementation and Development” from the European Network of Living Labs. Furthermore, he is accredited as a certified Business Advisor by GrowthWheel.
Outside of work, Youssef enjoys immersing himself in nature, listening to music, and indulging in a good book.
