Through his Recognition Award program – managed by Berytech, and now with these scholarship funds, Chammas is hoping to share his entrepreneurship drive and passion with the greatest number of young people.
Quadra won the Maroun N. Chammas Recognition Award for Technology Innovation: the $50,000 prize money and mentorship from Maroun Chammas, and the Sports Excellence Recognition Award was won by young swimming athlete Rami El Ghaziri who received $25,000. Another $25,000 was granted equally between the five finalists.
On a yearly basis, and for the next ten years, Maroun N. Chammas has committed US$50,000 for the award to recognize and reward excellence in technology innovation; and US$25,000 for the award to recognize and reward excellence in sporting accomplishments.
