Le Potager de Yara was established in 2021 by Yara Ibrahim, an Agricultural Engineer. This green startup aims to reduce the excess agricultural produce by introducing new seed varieties focusing on the novelty of peppers: Habanero, Jalapeno, and many more. Through rural farmers, it produces innovative sauces by mixing the jalapeno and habanero with exotic fruits.
Operating primarily in the Bekaa Region, specifically in Mashghara, Le Potager de Yara aims to empower rural communities across various stages of the value chain. Farmers gain access to essential resources, technical expertise, and market channels, enabling them to maximize their agricultural potential.
Meanwhile, rural women contribute significantly to the manufacturing and production of a diverse range of sauces, thus fostering economic opportunities and gender inclusivity within the community.
