Members of the Dutch parliament accompanied ambassabor Jan Waltmans on a visit to the Berytech Innovation Park in Mar Roukoz which currently houses the Agrytech Program and the recently furbished Berytech Fab Lab. The delegation met the 11 startups which are part of the Agrytech Accelerator, and took the time to get to know their business ideas and the progress they have achieved in the last few months.
Part of the visit was also dedicated to discover the Berytech Fab Lab. Funded under the Agrytech Program, the Fab Lab is equipped with the latest in digital fabrication machines allowing several tracks of making capabilities.
The Agrytech Program, which was launched in January 2017, is funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Lebanon and Berytech. It aims to catalyze innovation in the agriculture and food industries.
