Under SHAAMS EU funded project, and within its scope of capacity building activities, Berytech organized, with key partner National Instruments, the SHAAMS digital energy revolution challenge.
The challenge kicked off on October 31st during the Entreprenergy conference, during a panel that raised awareness on renewable energy and focused on the solar field, including topics like IoT in the Digital Energy Revolution, Latest Tech Trends for Solar Energy Field, Success Story: A Business Startup in the Energy Industry…
The “Digital Energy Challenge” was also launched, offering an exciting opportunity for innovative projects and startups in the renewable energy field.
After receiving numerous applications and filtering candidates to a handful, the 2nd phase of the challenge included a hands-on training for the shortlisted applicants held on 26 and 27 November 2015. Organized by National Intsruments, the training covered programing knowledge including access to the LabVIEW program, that helps jump-start application and prototype development
During the 3rd phase of the challenge, shortlisted applicants were given 2 weeks to prepare their final project presentation to be pitched to a panel of juries specialized in the field, on December 16.
The 3 selected finalists received the access to a full incubation program from Berytech and National Instruments to turn their innovations into startup projects. The program covers:

The 3 winners who will start incubation in January 2016 at Berytech are:
