The concert was characterized by three zeros: zero conventional energy as solar panels have been installed to harvest power from the sun, zero waste by using recyclable material and zero carbon, and it received support from many participating companies along with thousands of Lebanese youth that attended the concert.
The World Wide Fund for Nature WWF launched “Earth Hour”, one of the biggest events around the world, urging millions around the world to turn off lights, with the participation of 178 countries and territories this year. This event is organized annually to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and how can each individual and institution make a distinguished influence to protect environment.
