Peter Kruger, the Chairman of Agrifood-Tech Italia, an association focused on the Italian agrifood startup ecosystem, boasts 25 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience in the IT and digital sectors. He has assumed diverse roles, spanning from executive manager and board member to CEO, across notable companies including RAI, Kataweb, Tiscali, Postecom, and Terra News.
More recently, Peter has taken the helm as CEO of Startup Bootcamp FoodTech, a preeminent global accelerator housing a portfolio of 26 agrifood-tech enterprises. Additionally, he lends his expertise as a consultant, advisor, and board member to Investment Funds and Government Bodies. Armed with a Masters in Theoretical Physics, Peter adeptly merges a robust technological foundation with sound business and financial acumen. An engaged business angel, mentor, and public speaker, he is presently focused on fundraising for AgFood Ventures, a worldwide foodtech seed fund situated in Europe.
This episode of the Learning Series was produced under the Agrytech Accelerator Program. The Agrytech Accelerator Program was conceived to make sure Lebanon has the most competitive companies that are sourcing, solving, growing and transforming food, as well as feeding the world from Lebanon. The Agrytech Accelerator Program was launched by Berytech and co-funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lebanon to enable the Lebanese entrepreneurial ecosystem and stimulate innovation and startup creation in the agriculture and food technology sectors.
