UNIDO and UNDP, in partnership with Berytech, launch the first Export Training Center and Online Academy aimed at supporting Lebanese MSMEs access markets.
The academy’s main goal is to support local MSMEs and Cooperatives in the productive sectors amidst the economic and financial crisis by increasing their competitiveness. It is the country’s first export training center and online academy, and its focus in the first phase is to enable at least 70 MSMEs from the Agriculture and Agri-food sectors, 40 of which are women-led enterprises, to improve their export readiness and assist them in reaching foreign markets therefore contributing to job creation and the country’s economic recovery and growth.
The Lebanon Export Academy is implemented by UNIDO and UNDP in partnership with Berytech, as part of the Productive Sectors Development Program, a 3-year program funded through the generous contribution of the Government of Canada.
