Part of celebrating the resilience and strength of mothers in our community, Berytech hosted 3 mompreneurs – founders of their own startups, to talk about their journey, and how they balance their successes and challenges both at home and in the office.
Garage Luxe Founders at Berytech, Mar Roukoz
Mompreneurs and founders of Garage Luxe – an e-commerce website for pre-loved items, Carine Daher and Mina Mneymneh shared their journey with the Berytech Mar Roukoz community. Carine discussed the social expectations of women to ‘work as if they don’t have children, and raise children as if they don’t have work’ while finding the balance, which is never easy and very different for each woman. Mina shared her personal experience of motherhood and entrepreneurship, ‘as a mom, I learned to be brave, as the heart of a working mum is like the heart of a warrior facing daily battles and challenges.’
