Berytech has enlisted the expertise of Randa Farah an HR Specialist, Organizational Psychologist and Master NLP Practitioner, to conduct a series of four webinars on Self-Management in Crisis Times.

These online workshops are part of the Helping SMEs Build Resilience Program recently launched by Berytech under the The Rapid Response and Recovery Programme, led by Youth Business International (YBI) and funded by Google.org, to support underserved micro, small and medium businesses to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. 

Indeed, Berytech has been appointed as a delivery partner of YBI in Lebanon. The team is now working with YBI to develop and deliver an urgent package of support to struggling local businesses. This includes setting up a crisis helpline, targeted advice and signposting, online training through webinars and mentoring.

Session 1: Emotional First Aid

Emotional pressure is becoming more and more dominant in our daily lives. Stress, Anxiety, Emotional wounds are become part of our daily life, especially with the increased depression rate and the tension of the problem we are facing lately: Corona, Beirut Blast, Revolution days, Financial Crisis and more… In this session, you will learn how to preserve your emotional health, increase your resilience and make it a daily habit to stay strong no matter what you’re going through with a proper emotional hygiene.

Session 2: Dealing with Stress & Anxiety during challenging Times

Stress will always be present in our daily life. A certain amount of stress keeps us going, however, negative stress can have drastic effects on our mental, emotional and physical health. Learning how to manage our stress is becoming a vital skill to master.

With the Corona outbreak and so many stressors around us, dealing with our mental health and knowing how to release our stress is a must. In this session, you will learn the best practices of Stress Management. The training is designed to cover strategies to understand what is stress, how our body works as well as the best relaxation and daily techniques to adopt in our lifestyle coupled with valuable tips and examples.

             

Session 3: Self-Leadership & Inner Strength in Difficult Times

During difficult times and unexpected situations, we cannot control the outer world around us, we can only control ourselves. Therefore, developing your inner strength and having a good self-leadership is crucial. In this session we will discuss your focus of control, your self-talk , having a strong mindset and inner strength, developing assertiveness, self-leadership towards more empathy and kindness, and your potential to face challenges and deal with them.

 

Session 4: Boost your Happy Hormones Naturally

Our Hormones are messengers, trying to tell us if something is wrong in our body or mood. We often hear about “Hormone Imbalance”. They can also affect our mood and happiness level. In this workshop you will learn what these hormones are, what their role is, how they affect us and what their impact is on our life and happiness level, and how to boost them naturally and without medication.

Helping SMEs Build Resilience Program

Berytech joins Youth Business International’s Rapid Response and Recovery Programme, funded by Google.org, to support struggling businesses during the covid-19 crisis.

During this 12-month program, Berytech in collaboration with Google.org and YBI will provide immediate response and online trainings for SMEs. A direct Helpline will be available. For selected applicants, mentoring, business clinics and trainings will be offered by Berytech and Google experts.
