Eight startups have reached the final phase of the Agrytech Accelerator Batch 3. Berytech reached out to hear from the founders themselves about their journey in the program so far.
FX Bar is a line of healthy, on the go, energy snacks that contain bee pollen and other nutritious ingredients. They currently offer bites and 100% natural protein bars. They also offer an exceptional product experience: scan the QR code on the package, and you will get a motivational video from fitness trainers, life coaches, influencers or even feel good songs and many more mood boosters.
According to co-founder Sasha Abdel Sater, the mentors, experts, grants, business and technical support are but a glimpse of what makes Berytech’s Agrytech Program an amazing opportunity for every startup. Previous success stories led them to apply to this program, hoping that with the help of experts and with the support of Berytech’s team, they would be able to scale their idea and become a well-established startup, ready for investment.
“Our journey with Berytech has been life-changing. In 9 months, we were able to transform a simple idea to a continuously improving MVP and were able to validate the need for our solution. With the help of Agrytech’s team, we were able to organize our work, acquire new skills, monitor our progress and get concrete advice to improve our performance. The team also helped us always push forward, and challenged us on many levels to bring out the best version of both ourselves and our product!
In the Agrytech Program, we learned ‘the art of never giving up’; we were encouraged to always learn, pivot, adapt, and continuously add value. It’s this mindset that’s pushing us forward.
Our greatest achievement during this program hasn’t only been the elaboration and creation of our final product but also, in parallel, the establishment of a mindset that encourages growth and embraces positivity and ambition.
We cannot deny that the country’s situation during the 3 phases of the program was the most convenient. Starting with the revolution of 17 October, the ongoing financial crisis, Corona virus outbreak and then the Beirut blast, we sometimes experienced a slowed progress, periods where we were lacking productivity and a complete change of our pricing, market and cost structure. Nevertheless, these unfortunate events never impacted our mission, nor our vision, but on the contrary, showed the importance of what we are doing and what we hope to achieve within the community.
With the help our advisors and mentors, and driven by the will to live and achieve, we slowly started to adapt and progressively resumed our activities. The pain is still there, but we are determined to complete our journey. We also acknowledged that the startup we are creating will positively impact the economy of the country, will create opportunities and will showcase a professional and positive image of Lebanon, its citizen and its products abroad.
