GIL Workshop: 2D Computer Aided Design
This workshop will teach you how to use AutoCAD, a computer-aided tool that allows designers create diversified drawings and designs.

The workshops are open mainly to GIL members.

This workshop will teach you how to use AutoCAD, a computer-aided tool that allows designers create diversified drawings and designs.
2 online sessions, 2 hours each.
Regardless of your artistic or computer ability, this workshop will teach you how to use Adobe Illustrator, a powerful drawing software to help you with your designs.
2 online sessions, 2 hours each.
This workshop will introduce participants to Arduino, an open-source electronic prototyping platform allowing users to create interactive electronic objects.
2 online sessions, 2 hours each.
This course teaches the basics of 3d printing & scanning, and the procedures needed to move from a digital 3d model to a plastic physical part.
3 online sessions, 2 hours each.
The workshop will introduce participants to the fundamental tools in Grasshopper.
The course will take you on a journey through mathematics, algorithms and computer science and explain applied examples of concepts such as vector geometry and trigonometry.
3 online sessions, 2 hours each.
Throughout this workshop, participants will explore the different areas of 2D Sketching and 3d Modelling using Fusion 360.
This tool allows exploration and iteration on the product idea.
3 online sessions, 2 hours each.
This workshop will introduce participants to the basic of 3D modeling tools in Rhinoceros.
Rhinoceros 3D is one of the standard 3D modeling tools for designers and architects allowing users to create, edit, analyze, document, render, animate, and translate NURBS curves, surfaces, and solids with no limits on complexity, degree, or size.
