The Cluster Booster Track is an exciting peer-to-peer learning and booster programme which helps cluster managers from the MENA region improve their management skills, multiply their business opportunities and open new channels of inter-clustering collaboration at national, regional and international level.
A new approach
For 4 years, the programme combines peer training and capacity building with business development missions giving MENA clusters international visibility. All actions help develop the strategic cooperation between EU & MENA clusters, supporting the creation of a strong cluster community. In order to sustain and support regular exchanges among this community, the online collaborative network i-Community has been created.
The steps
The Cluster Booster Track is made of the following steps:
One-week inspiration and learning tours in Europe designed to acquire new methods and tools with priority topics identified during the diagnoses.
4 inspiration and learning tours designed by France Clusters, the coordinator of the Cluster Booster Track were organised between 2018 and 2020.
2-day events taking place in Mediterranean countries which combine a workshop, during which EU and MED clusters are matched in working teams based on their cooperation profiles, their priority topics and the business opportunities targeted by their members, and inter-cluster meeting.
Berytech, under THE NEXT SOCIETY partnership, brought together business clusters, industry players, academia, policymakers, tech transfer offices, SMEs, startups and entrepreneurs for a virtual event to support innovative startups and SMEs from the MENA region and Europe. Read more.
