Berytech is organizing The Euro-Med Scale up Innovation Day on November 19, 2020, under the EU-funded THE NEXT SOCIETY initiative, bringing together international speakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and experts to support innovative startups and SMEs from the EU-MENA region.
The event is an occasion to join forces to better navigate the current crisis and help startups adapt their growth strategies, access funding opportunities, forge new regional partnerships, and scale up across the European and Mediterranean markets against all odds.
A day full of opportunities
This first digital event of its kind will provide an array of opportunities for startups to survive, innovate and grow despite the challenges and shifts that are occurring as the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The day will offer power talks featuring inspiring professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators, growth workshops. delivered by seasoned practitioners who will provide hands-on sessions and masterclasses, an exhibition featuring Mediterranean startups who will present their innovative solutions, and regional partners from the startups ecosystem who will present their services and support programs, as well as matchmaking sessions between startups, mentors, investors, and professionals from several countries.

More than 600 attendees from the region including innovators, academics, industry professionals, startup ecosystem players, entrepreneurship supporters, and investors are expected to join.
The event is open for startups, investors, organizations and professionals who want to learn about technologies and trends re-shaped by the pandemic while tapping into new strategies. It will provide opportunities to connect and explore potential collaborations, to access international business support, funding, and soft-landing programs and to promote to industry leaders and investors across the Euro-Med network.
Part of the Business Innovation Week
The Euro-Med Scale Up Innovation Day is part of the first Business Innovation Week in Lebanon (BIW2020) organized by Berytech, which also offers an Acceleration Bootcamp for startups, and Power Meetings with investors.
The Lebanese Business Innovation Week is a disruptive event designed to bring together entrepreneurs, mentors, industry experts, investors and ecosystem leaders from Europe, the MENA region and Gulf countries to work on business expansion and explore investment opportunities.
It will offer an intensive learning experience that includes coaching and mentoring, networking, one-to-one meetings, training and workshops by the best national and international mentors, and a full-day conference.
