IdeaLab is a 10-week entrepreneurship support program being implemented across Lebanon with the aim of providing the proper technical and business support needed for entrepreneurs to validate their solutions and turn their ideas into businesses.
The two-month cycle allows entrepreneurs with Cleantech and Agrifoodtech solutions to learn how to identify their problem, validate their solution in the market, build their first prototype, and create a strong team that has the capacity to take on challenges and scale their startup.
The selection process and delivery of the program is done through one of Berytech’s five partner organizations. You can apply to the IdeaLab Program in two ways, either through one of the partner organizations listed below or directly through the link provided and Berytech will forward your application to the relevant organization in your region.

Get up to $1.5K in cash grants to validate your solution.
Connect and collaborate with startups, partners, mentors, and investors.
The applying teams should
Be formed of at least two co-founders.
Have at least one representative who is Lebanese and residing in Lebanon.
Be able to commit to the two-month program.
Have a solution at the idea stage.
Possess a solution that addresses challenges within the agrifood or cleantech sectors, with a focus on innovation and practical application.
Preferably work on an innovation that drives a positive social or environmental impact.
Have multidisciplinary and complementary team members (recommended).

IdeaLab is part of Berytech’s Partner Growth Program under the ACT Smart Innovation Hub. Partner Growth was launched to enable five Support Organizations in different Lebanese regions, for three consecutive years, to source entrepreneurs with innovative solutions in the agrifood and clean technology sectors, assist them in ideating and validating their solutions through the IdeaLab Program, and initiate them to apply and join the Agrytech or Clyntech Accelerators and grow their businesses.

Your idea or solution should embody a potential innovation in technology or the business model, avoiding any sense of being over-represented or clichéd. Moreover, the idea should carry significant impact, whether it’s on economic, social, environmental, or other relevant aspects.
